Hello. I encountered an issue regarding account updates while selling on eBay. The situation is as follows. I would appreciate your assistance in my account from being restricted. 1. I listed an item on eBay to sell. (Foreign national outside the U.S., individual seller) 2. My product was sold, and at the same time, I received a notification with the following content: "We need more information to process your payout. Update your account details by (date) to avoid account restrictions." 4. Upon checking the Issue Resolution Center, I found that the notification instructed me to update my identity information, payout method, and SSN/TIN number. 5. My legal residence was fixed as 'United States,' preventing me from updating the information. 6. Judging that I could not sell the product due to the above situation, I canceled the order (issued a refund) and deleted the listing. 7. The notification from step 2 has not been deleted and remains in place, putting me at risk of account suspension. I have never experienced account issues when I only made purchases before selling. I do not mind if sales are restricted, but I do not want purchases to be restricted. (This is because I do not want my purchase history and reputation, built up over the years, to disappear.) It is unclear whether the account restriction mentioned here means only sales will be restricted or if the entire account will be suspended.
