Who knew this was even a thing? Sellers get envelopes stamped as First Day Issue at the post office and then add their own artwork (cache) to the envelope and sell it on eBay. And it’s perfectly fine if they use their own art creations and follow USPS rules, but instead, some sellers are using copyrighted images they themselves draw onto the FDC envelopes. Like Licensed cartoon characters, etc... Using someone else’s copyrighted artwork on such an envelope without permission is a violation of both copyright law and USPS rights and permissions policies. I'm pretty sure most do not have a license to do this...sigh...whatever will "they" think of next? ᓚᘏᗢ
