Buyer Fraud
Hello!
I recently sold a graded card and the buyer has requested a refund because they claim that the card they received was not the correct card. I asked them to send me a picture of what they received and it was definitely not the card I sent. I wasn't even the right sport nor was it graded so it didn't come from me. This buyer is clearly trying to keep the card I sent them and say that I sent them something else. In reading through this forum I'm probably out of luck, but has anyone been successful in fighting back in these cases? I suppose we should all bake in "shrinkage" into our our businesses to account for unscrupulous people, but there doesn't appear to be any avenue that protects me as the seller and I'll ultimately be out of money not the buyer.

·1 year agoSorry, but unless it was sent through the AC, there's no way you can prove what you shipped and what the buyer received.
