Wonder if that will prevent a late shipping ding?
However, tracking still says they are waiting for pickup. At least I switched to three day handling.

·1 year agoSometimes it takes a day for the packages to be scanned in. The mailman is supposed to scan the package at pickup, but if they don't, it will be scanned by the time it hits the hub.
The pickup confirmation email won't help against a late shipment unfortunately. But unless the package doesn't get scanned for 24-36 hours I wouldn't worry about it, it is still considered on time when it is scanned at the hub.

·1 year agoAlthough it sounds like this was resolved- the simple answer is NO; any email you get from USPS will NOT help you with ebay.
Reason being, those emails do NOT show what you are shipping, just that a pickup was made (and those emails have been 'off' in the counts if you have multiple items, for almost a year (shows double).

OP1 year agoCase closed. It's in the postal service and shows it was shipped the other day.

Well, dang. My kneejerk reaction is "No"... but that's just me. Too early to do a package search... see if it shakes it awake?

·1 year agoI get those emails from USPS 3 to 6 days a week (depending on how many pickups I have) so over 20,000 since 2011 or so....
but this has NOTHING to do with what 'ebay' is showing.
What you need to do is compare what ebay is showing vs. what USPS is showing- if after 1 full day, they are different, you need to screen shot USPS and go to the reps on FB

·1 year agoWhat is? USPS emails have nothing to do with any particular item sold, being sold, being shipped, being labeled etc etc.
USPS emails you when you
a.) do a 'pickup' on line at the USPS website for a 'future date' (typically for tomorrow)
b.) then you get a '2nd' email, from USPS- stating what you stated "your pickup has been completed" etc.
They would NOT be referring to any particular item.

OP1 year agoThe item I sold is supposed to be shipped by the 7th. Just looked still not showing at the postoffice.
The pickup email was for the package. It came after they picked it up. It was the second email.
