Why was my Appeal denied
I put PAP100-4 which is a pool filter in the search. I bought an item that has that filter on the listing title. That’s not what I got and I did a return request through eBay. They denied it. I wouldn’t have bought it if the filter number I need wasn’t on their title. I’ve been buying my pool filters on eBay for years. How do I fix this. eBay says case closed and I can’t appeal it!

·4 months agoYou either selected the wrong reason or you are past the 30 day moneyback guarantee time. If the filter was not in it then that is considered "Item not described" which Ebay would force a return if filed within 30 days. There isn't much you can do other than file a chargeback with your payment source if the seller is refusing to make this right.

·4 months agoDid you make the common mistake of choosing as your return reason "does not fit" instead of "item not as described".
"Does not fit" is a buyer discretionary return which may be denied by the seller. "Not as described" is a seller error which qualifies for the Ebay Money Back Guarantee.

OP4 months agoI might have. I don’t remember. Returning items isn’t something I’ve done a lot. How do I fix this?

·4 months agoYou get one chance at a case on eBay so you will have to go through your payment source

·4 months agoI posted the same exact thing last week and a moderator deleted my post, saying I was encouraging buyers to break ebay's TOS.
But for some reason it's fine when other people mention it.
No, I am not salty. 🙂
