Where have they hidden the Free Shipping option NOW?
Summary: A participant inquired about the new location of the free shipping option, indicating it has been difficult to find.
On mobile site. Not the app(not compatible.) Working on a draft.
See pics below. I've clicked every single click-able option on the form multiple times, especially in the Pricing and Shipping sections. No matter what I select or change, the "Offer Free Shipping" option never appears, even though it existed before for my other listings that I had made on PC before.
Crazy how every time I return to this site, they've changed the form to make everything just slightly worse and more cumbersome, yet can't seem to fix basic long-standing issues like this. I recall having to deal with this exact same nonsense a few years ago. 😩

OP8 months agoCalculated. But switching it to Flat Rate changed nothing.

OP8 months agoWow. Changing it to Flat Rate and then also changing package details and then selecting a service finally allowed the option to show up again. It had to be done in that very specific order, apparently.
I feel dumb for not finding it sooner, but there's really no reason not to just have it be available from the start like when doing this on desktop .
Oh well, problem solved. Hopefully this helps out someone else down the line as well.
Thanks kensgiftshoop for drawing my attention to that section so I could stumble into the solution eventually 😄

·8 months agoThe bottom line is your screenshots show "calculated shipping" with no service selected. Once you select a service you can check the free ship box - whether calculated or flat the option should appear - however it's always better to select flat as it can affect whether free shipping shows in search. At least it used to.
