when you are charged for 2 labels and both show shipped with different labels, who gets the funds
several items have 2 tracking numbers
some were shipped to buyer with different dates, that resulted in late defect.
All were mailed on time.
I Requested removal, as the tracking numbers eBay is using is the extra label.
I admit that it is my error as I haven't been monitoring close enough.
I sent all shipping labels with request to correct.
My appeal was denied.
How can the post office ship the same item out twice with different dates to the same buyer.
Also, if buyer's item has not arrived, when tracking shows to his residence and left with individual's (am I responsible to reimburse?
Who should reimburse, eBay or Post Office?

·9 months ago@velvetnurse Can you please come back here and clarify what the others are asking you. Your post is confusing.
Does this issue concern a single buyer?
How many items did they buy?
How many boxes did you use to pack their items?
How many shipping labels did you purchase?
How many boxes did you give to USPS?

·9 months agoThere is no way USPS can ship the same package twice. USPS only delivers the package that you brought to the post office. Each label printed has a unique barcode (do see how it is possible to have movement on 2 different labels). Unless, you used the 2nd label to ship item to a different customer.
You can "cancel" incorrect label" and get a refund from USPS. Go to ORDERS, SHIPPING LABELS (click CANCEL). You can only cancel label that were never used and don't show any tracking (movement).
If item is stolen from porch AFTER it was delivered Seller is NOT responsible. Seller must provide EBAY with tracking# proving item was delivered to the correct address.
Seller is responsible if package gets lost or damaged in the mail. EBAY will force you to give the customer a "full refund". Seller can then try to get reimbursed from USPS (for damage or lost package).

·9 months agoTo clarify, if you print two labels each with a unique tracking number, you would get charged for each label. You can cancel the unused label as long as it has a different tracking number then the one used. Takes about 2 weeks for the refund to come thru. You can request that refund through the eBay label dropdown.
Don't really need to print more than one label for the same item on different days even though the rules say it has to be shipped on the same day the label is printed. Not heard of a case where a label printed today is rejected if shipped tomorrow or later. I have seen cases where the label was generated and not shipped for days after.

·9 months agoYou should have tried to cancel the extra labels with the PO.
You only have so much time to request cancelation and it will take a bit to be refunded.
If you are too late to cancel you will eat the extra costs.
If the buyer files a Not Received, you the seller refund the buyer.

·9 months agoPlease clarify.
Why did you purchase more than one label for a single item? Did you make a mistake on the first and have to purchase the second?
If tracking shows movement on both labels, you shipped with those labels. I don't know whether you put a label on the wrong item for a different buyer.
But again, if there's movement, you won't get reimbursed.
