When can you file insurance claim on item shipped by Pirate?
I have an order that was shipped to Mexico by Pirate and the buyer opened a item not received request. The item was shipped on January 14th. If I refund the buyer now will I still be able to file an insurance claim for it?

·7 months ago@mozartbach1971 What carrier did you use? If USPS, then you file it with USPS, just as if you bought your label from eBay and you must follow USPS rules.
If you shipped UPS, you file using the InsureShield portal. PirateShip has details on how and when to do this on their website.

OP7 months agoI used Pirate, I contacted them and they gave the number of their insurer and I was told I could file a claim now.

OP7 months agoThe last location says Bell California, there are two other scans after that does not include a location, they say arrived at destination and handled by local carrier.
