What is considered "standard" & "economy" shipping?
eBay used to provide a table in the Help pages that provided a list of all of the shipping services sorted by whether they were:
Expedited (Priority Mail),
Standard (First Class Pkg), or
Economy (Media Mail)
[ Examples above]
Does something like this exist now?
Because of the potential delays, is UPS Saver considered standard or economy?

·1 year agoThat could happen regardless of using Ground or Ground Saver.
Technically Ground Saver is an economy service.
Its supposed to be slower than UPS Ground by 1 day.
However, that 1 day was because they'd deliver it to the USPS and then the USPS would deliver to the next day.
But now that UPS and USPS contract is no more, all my Ground Savers get delivered within the same time as UPS Ground.
However this long delay isn't becsuse they used Ground Saver. Something outside the sellers control has happened, and its definitely abnormal.

UPS Ground Saver is classified as Economy.

Thank you for your response.
I was the buyer in this case.
The listing showed only "standard shipping" as the shipping method, with an expected delivery date of 7-18.
Seller shipped via UPS Ground Saver & tracking showed it as "preparing for delivery" at my local UPS hub on 7-18, right on time, or so I thought.
It sat at the hub "waiting to fit on a truck" for 5 more days. It was a small package.
I wasn't sure if this was normal. If the seller had downgraded the shipping method?
