What is best way to ship a sold postcard in USA 🇺🇸 How much charge? What manner it travels?
Being so old like I am + formerly being so very active going around buying all sorts of stuff for at least 40+ years, I have tons of items here in my apartment for sale.
There is a thread on postcards now here on this board and it made me think about my own collection that I haven’t thought about in many many years.
Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.
P.S. Next I’ll be asking again same questions about shipping LP vintage vinyl records, etc., etc.

Most postcards are too low priced for me to offer. (I have a $8 plus shipping minimum),
This effectively means that I am selling postcards which are aimed at cross collectors, people interested in the subject matter, not postcards in general.
I ship GA in a rigid plastic top loader in an Ebay 6x8 stayflat mailer.
I do not use ESE which many sellers who are selling to postcard collectors are using, because it takes longer to pack than I want to take, and because I have after the sale "where's my stuff" messages. ESE with toploaders is asking for trouble.
Shipping vintage LPs is simple, LP boxes from The Boxery or ValueMailers through Ebay or Amazon. Although many professional record sellers use cardboard spacers as well as the box, I have found that using only the box leads to about one damaged LP/yr and keeps the weight below 1 lb for a single LP.
