What carrier value should we use for UniUni tracking uploaded by a 3PL?
Summary: hrv2k-33 is facing an issue with using UniUni for shipping on eBay US, as this carrier is not listed as an integrated option for tracking. They are seeking advice on the correct way to upload tracking details for UniUni shipments. krazzykats suggested using UU01 as the carrier value for standard service. However, some participants questioned the legitimacy of hrv2k-33's operations, suggesting potential misrepresentation of product locations. mudshark61369 commented on similar past issues with other sellers and explained why UniUni might not be accepted by eBay, noting its reliance on independent contractors for delivery.
Hi everyone,
Hoping someone here has run into this, or that a Community team member can point me to the right answer.
We sell our own inventory on eBay US. Our stock sits with a fulfillment warehouse (3PL) that ships our orders with UniUni, and the warehouse pushes tracking to eBay automatically through Extensiv Integration Manager. So we never key the tracking in by hand, it arrives through the integration.
The problem is that UniUni does not appear on eBay's list of integrated shipping carriers:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options?id=4089
We want the tracking uploaded honestly and correctly, so eBay can follow the shipment and flip the order to Delivered once UniUni delivers it. What we do not want to do is upload a UniUni tracking number under some other carrier's name just to make it validate.
So, four questions:
1. Is UniUni integrated with eBay for tracking on the US site? If not, does anyone know whether it is on the roadmap?
2. When tracking comes in through an integration, what exact carrier value should be sent for a UniUni tracking number (the shippingCarrierCode / ShippingCarrierUsed field)?
3. If UniUni is not on the carrier list, is "Other" with the carrier name entered as "UniUni" the correct way to upload a genuine UniUni tracking number?
4. If we upload it that way, will eBay display the tracking updates and mark the order Delivered, and does it still count as valid tracking for seller performance and for "Item not received" protection?
Once we know the right value, our warehouse can compare it with what their system is currently sending and fix the mapping on their side.
Has anyone else here shipped with UniUni through a 3PL? Would really like to hear what carrier value worked for you.
Thanks in advance.

·2 weeks ago@hrv2k-33 ,
I get the feeling that your country of registry (United States) is not your actual location, and that you are actually located in Pakistan. China has been making a push in that country to get people to sell their goods using their 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) warehouses some of which are located in the U.S..
A few years back they did the same thing with sellers in Sri-Lanka, and many signed up with them, and ended up being kicked off the site, because of Misrepresentation of products, Out of Stock issues at warehouses, and the changing of addresses on shipping labels to obtain a Delivered scan but sending small cheap items or envelopes with advertising to an address in the buyer's Zip Code (City County code) Leaving the seller holding the bag after taking their portion of the profits of course. UniUni has not been accepted by ebay because is uses independent contractors for final mile delivery not their own delivery service.

eBay already follows UniUni shipments, then announces Delivered at the end:
Not sure how you keep doing that. over and over.

·3 weeks agoI'm surprised you were approved for forward deployed inventory using a shipping method not integrated into eBay shipping

·3 weeks agoThe ones that usually use it are ones dropshipping from Aliexpress, TEMU, Shien and Tik Tok Shop, which isn't allowed on Ebay.
Since you're lying about your location on this account, I have a feeling you're lying about you owning the items you're selling.
