What are options besides Ground Advantage for Shipping Small Items
I have alot of enamel lapel pins I want to sell.
Obviously these are very small items and am hoping there was an option for shipping besides ground Advantage.
If I ship them first class, how do I get a tracking number.
What are the small envelopes some sellers ship collector cards in?

·11 months agoWatch out with just sending them in an envelope. They will get damaged or torn out of the envelope by postal machines.

·11 months agoJust to add another suggestion, if you still want to sell single pins is to offer the first pin with the full shipping price and each additional pin with free shipping. This allows the buyer to decide not only which pins they want, but also encourages buyers to purchase more to offset the shipping cost.
If you do the above, make sure adjust your combined shipping rules for additional items in your Shipping Options, and to disable any advanced/auto payments in your Buyer Requirements.

·11 months agoThey physically do not qualify for First Class Mail service (letters / flats). You're asking about eBay Standard Envelope which is First Class Mail service (machinable letter service, specifically), and pins do not qualify for that service.
The least expensive option for your pins based on their physical attributes is USPS Ground Advantage.
As the previous poster suggested @farnorthsid , maybe lot up 2-3 (or more) together to make the shipping cost more worth it.

·11 months agoYour best bet would be to start selling them in lots, not individually.
The shipping cost will be the same for ground advantage for 10 pins as it would be for 1 pin.
So instead of paying, say $4.50 to ship 1 pin, you could ship 10 pins for that same $4.50
