What am I missing? Shipping rate for electric scooter $400 or higher
I am trying to sell a segway scooter and after researching several companies and rates, I cannot find a rate lower than $400. I have received a lot of messages asking if the shipping estimate is wrong. It doesn't seem like other sellers with similar items are quite this high, and I don't know if I am doing something incorrectly.

·2 years agoYou might be one of those properly shipping the item. Electronic items tend to be horrible resale items. Especially when lithium batteries are involved.

·2 years agoShipping goes by both size and weight. That also has lithium batteries and that can be an issue. Watch out, if you fine a lower rate it could be incorrect. You don't want to be billed for big charges later. As others have said a local pick up sale would be better.

·2 years agoSell that locally, I can’t imagine what you are thinking to try to sell it on eBay without having access to wholesale channels and volume retailer shipping discounts. DO NOT sell that on eBay.

Folded up, shipping shouldn't be that bad.

·2 years agoSeems like something that would work out better to be sold via Facebook Marketplace or through an ad in the local newspaper.
And, another issue is that, if the buyer opens an item not as described case, you, the seller, will be paying the cost of return shipping. Are you aware of that?
