Very Odd USPS Delivery Update
A package that was supposed to go to a residential address in Minnesota was updated yesterday as Delivered --- to a Post Office Box in Wisconsin. The buyer got a delivery alert and immediately messaged me. Double checked my orders and was able to confirm it wasn't me mixing up the mailing labels. Hope the package will get moving again but if it doesn't maybe I'll file a claim with USPS --- or maybe not for a $10 item. Anyone else ever have this happen?

OP5 months agoAn update for everyone who chimed in on this issue. USPS sent the package to the right address eventually. Did they figure it out all by themselves, or did the PO Box owner turn in the mis-delivered package?

·5 months agoI once had a package got delivered to a same named street in a different city and state. I filed a claim right away as the buyer started asking for a refund. Sometimes filing claims helps get things moving. In my case, the carrier was sent to try to retrieve it and the person gave the package back and it ended up delivered to the correct city and state. It doesn't always work out that way.

·5 months agoI have seen this happen when USPS reuses a tracking number. Once it gets its next scan, it should update.

·5 months agoOnce it is scanned delivered, Ebay will not report later scans.
USPS.com will show the later scans.
