·5 months ago10+ years ago when gas went up (for the 20th time, then went down) my Gardener levied an 'additional' $10 a month to 'cover gas'.
Gas was pushing $5 in Cali.
1 year later it was back down to $3 (or so).
Gardener never reduced their monthly fee. 10 years. Not ever.
The 'raise cuz gas is higher' is one of the biggest scams out there.
