I have two days to drop off sold items at the post office. If by day 3 they do not scan it, it means i shipped the item late. There are two signs at the post office that say items are scanned by 1pm on one sign and the other says noon. I drop off at 10am and they don’t get scanned until the next day. Waiting in line takes almost an hour so waiting to have them scan them in front of me isn’t really an option. I paid for a box at another location because my mail was getting delivered all over town. I tried dropping off at that location but it adds a day or more because they have to drive it to the post office and still the post office takes an extra day to sort and scan. Does anyone have a similar situation?

·4 days ago · EditedWrong. You have 2 days to get a USPS Acceptance In Possession Scan, so wait in line (or use a Kiosk) and get the scan and a paper receipt, make them work that's what they're paid for. Don't "drop them off".

·4 days agoUnfortunately, eBay has no power to change USPS policies or working conditions.
You might consider checking other USPS locations in your area to see if they offer a 24 hour self-service kiosk, or a shorter wait time for getting a counter scan.

·4 days agoHappening in the US and happening here in the UK as well, its great for ebay to dish out defects, only workaround is extend dispatch days, but dont forget ebay tell you

·4 days agoYep I do. I had to switch to three day handling to avoid late shipment dings by eBay. And the postal service is taking even longer now.

·4 days agoIt does have some effect. Setting a 3-day handling time does not stop you from earning or keeping your base Top Rated Seller account status on eBay, but it does disqualify your listings from the Top Rated Plus badge and its fee discount
I'm not such a rated seller.
