USPS Shipping Stalled at Scarborough Maine Destination Processing
I mailed a combined order on May 17, 2023 using eBay Standard Envelop (ESE). Tracking shows Destination Processing at Scarborough, Maine at 8:40am and 12:40am on May 20, 2023 and an estimated delivery of Monday, May 22. The buyer contacted me a few days ago because the package hadn't arrived. When I called the Scarborough ME distribution center, I was told to leave a message, but was unable to do so as the message area was full. This order still hasn't arrived and there have been no tracking updates as it sits in Scarborough Maine with no activity since the 12:40am May 20, 2023 Destination Processing.
One of my Saved Sellers indicates that due to staffing shortages in rural areas, USPS shipping can take up to 2 weeks. I'm wondering if any other buyers and/or sellers are seeing stalled USPS shipping.

Has the buyer opened up an "item not received" case yet?
Since this was a "combined" order, did it weigh below 3 ounces?
Was the envelope sufficiently flexible?

Yesterday I got a message from the buyer letting me know the order finally arrived. Tracking has NOT been updated, still showing no activity since the 12:40am May 20, 2023 Destination Processing. It took the USPS 8 days longer than their estimated delivery date of May 22.

“IMPORTANT!!! READ!! Please allow 1-3 additional weeks for arrival of item due to the shortage of employees working at the distribution center where our local mail is sorted!!
eBay shows this seller location as USA, but I'm assuming it's a rural location.
