USPS lost Priority package, denies insurance. Reason: we have no verification of your method of mail

I had to re-read it several times, as the reason is just nonsense.

"your claim has been denied because we have no verification of your method of mailing."

USPS has full tracking and method of service for the package, they got paid for it, they lost it, and now they don`t have verification of method of mailing?

P.S. Submitted all info/screenshots from ebay pages showing address, item price, etc.

P.P.S. It took 21 days for USPS to respond to my claim.

was this ever resolved? Same thing just happened to me. Insurance claim denied because "no verification of mailing". You can track it on the USPS website..??

This is an old thread which will probably be shut down.

But "no verification of mailing" usually means the item was not scanned.

Not the same problem as this thread.

Start a new thread if you want opinions on your problem,
