USPS Greenville SC Processing Facility Delays?
Is anyone else seeing delays through the USPS Greenville SC Processing facility?
I'm trying to determine if my package is lost, or just hung up in Greenville SC.
I have a shipment going to south western end of N. Carolina near Asheville, mailed Dec 5th USPS Priroity Mail, still not delivered.
I opened a USPS research case on Dec 15th. USPS closed it as 'Resolved' on Dec 18th using COVID as the excuse. But, it's still not delivered.
I talked to my local post master, a very rude person, whose hand gestures were like a school yard punk calling me out for a fight. All I got was 'COVID, COVID, COVID'.
I talked to the destination post master in N. Carolina who said the package is probably in the Greenville SC Processing facility that has been backed up with 1,000's of shipping containers (not packages, 1,000's of bins full of packages) for weeks, they hoped to work through it by Christmas, but it has gotten worse, and 1,000's of items won't be delivered before Christmas.
USPS relocated their Asheville NC processing facility to Greenville SC about 2 or 3 years ago. I researched this, and from what I've read, package movement through Greenville SC has been slow since the transition from Asheville. Now worse than ever. One exception that I've read in more than one place, is Amazon packages get processed on time. I asked my post master about this and all I got was 'no comment'. I asked the NC post master about this and she would only confirm that "Amazon packages are getting delivered on time"

·1 year agoAnthony that goes to the ebay distribution center gets either lost or delayed bad. Im in western north carolina and I had some old money ordered and it was coming from up north, it made us way thru all the different facilities then arrived at Greenville, then to columbia which is further south but ok no real big deal, then back to Greenville then out for delivery??? What I'm 3hrs from Greenville??? Still haven't got it. Another item that was the same never showed up and it got refunded. But here's my thought, if a letter type item comes thru a ebay distribution facility wouldn't a employee think hey that's money from ebay, where if it was at a normal usps office it would just be a letter. I think the employees are getting smart and " losing" that item or saying it's out for delivery when the destination is 3hrs away? Im smelling a thief

You are 5 years too late responding to this thread from December 2020.
I doubt that this Anthony you are speaking to hasn’t been here since this post was created.
By the way, USPS is the shipper not eBay.
Items purchased by US buyers within the US do not go through any eBay hubs, hubs are for international sales not domestic sales. They go through USPS distribution centers
This is pure baloney 👉But here's my thought, if a letter type item comes thru a ebay distribution facility wouldn't a employee think hey that's money from ebay, where if it was at a normal usps office it would just be a letter.
