I am all for trying to even out the advantage China has on their shipping rates etc because that is one of their biggest ways to reduce pricing and compete with others, but we need to do this diplomatically and preserve our good relations with them.
think ebay china/hk is currently considering alternative shipping options which does exist (but which is not allowed by ebay under the current shipping policy for hk sellers (eg registered airpost) .
i sell comics which are supposed to be exempted from the circus - but still impacted . putting my shop on vacation for a few days while cooler heads prevail.
That includes essentially all packages shipped from China to the US. I just had something shipped a few days ago and it's irritating that I will just have to consider it a loss and find another seller somewhere else.
Yep. That’s the bigger problem. We are dependent on China and we do not need to be getting too aggressive about our relationship with them until we do something here. Of Course Trump will fix that. Yeah right.

Too bad it's not permanent.

·1 year agoSorry for your loss but from a Chinese seller it might have been anyway.

·1 year agoAt least with eBay, you can open a Claim for Item Not Received if your purchase does not get delivered by the last estimated date.

·1 year agoWell it's not stopping the container loads coming from China/HK, but it might slow down the ebay parcels somewhat.
Hope ebay is ready for all the INRs filed.
