UPS Ground Saver used - Items are delivered but won't update on eBay as delivered
hello,
I have shipped out over 100 packages in the last 30 days but my problem starts here in the last few days. eBay hit me with MC011 stating I did not upload tracking numbers but after going back and looking I noticed that everything I shipped out using UPS Ground Saver since Jan 2nd is showing up as shipped, carrier scanned but not as delivered. When you go into the shipping history it shows it as delivered by post office.
I have not been able to get customer service to help me out in updating these manually nor is it something I have been able to fix myself. As such my account is stuck in MC011 because I can not show everything as delivered due to this glitch in tracking.
Any help?

Update as of 2/5/2026:
The issue has now been resolved and all tracking events have been updated to reflect accurate delivery status.

·8 months agoThe hybrid shipping services have been subject to a lot of profit saving changes and experiments.
UPS Ground Saver at some times is UPS from end to end. And USPS is not involved.
Ebay has issues when if there is a delivered scan before the final delivery.
Who owns this problem is anyone's guess, but I suspect all are denying ownership.
As a believe in, "too many cooks ..." I do not use hybrid services to ship, My buyers can pay for a service I respect or buy somewhere else.

·8 months agoTotally agree. If anything ever happens to one of those shipments, both carriers point the finger at each other and say to "take it up with them".
I would never use one of those services and wish had a way to customize my ebay shipping to not even show me those as an option when printing labels.

·8 months agoLast two items were shipped USPS not UPS...so not sure if using a different shipping might make an error.
I have a seller using USPS and doesn't add tracking to items sold and he's a big seller.
Tracking can be added later to any item sold...
Might be a mess up on shipping.
And it might be something else...I don't ship everything with tracking.

·8 months agoNo, it's not. Both Fedex and UPS offer services that have USPS make the final delivery. It's common and been in effect for years (with some gaps when UPS/FedEx chose to make the delivery themselves).

·8 months agoWith UPS Ground Saver, UPS delivers it to the local post office and they do last-mile delivery. The only drawback is that it usually takes an extra day or two and costs only 1-3% less than UPS Ground, a service that UPS delivers itself.

·8 months agoWhen it comes to my fishing rods, UPS ground saver cost alot more to ship then using regular ground, sometime back in Dec it flipped. On top of that, good luck filing an insurance claim, neither PO or UPS will allow it, blaming the other for any damage.

·8 months agoI have the same issue (no MC011 ... yet). This is 100% an eBay tech issue. Seems like a MAJOR one. Did you try to elevate to higher level customer service?
