Unique item I want will not ship to the U.S. What can I do?
Hi, all,
I am in the U.S. and want to purchase an item that is being auctioned and the seller won't ship outside of the U.K. What are my options?
I thought that if I won the auction I could have the seller ship it directly to a Fedex (?) location in the U.K. so the company can ship forward it to me in the U.S., but I don't know if that's the best way.
What are your thoughts?

·2 years agoIf you use a freight forwarder make sure you change your address before payment so that the seller will be shipping to the correct address. But if the seller actually has the US blocked and you can't even bid, you can add the UK address as your default address and then change it later on.

·2 years agoIf you google "freight forwarders UK to US" you'll find several options.
But be aware that you will have no MBG when you use a freight forwarder. And the fees might not be worth it.

·2 years agoShould first ask if seller ships to USA before bidding.
Most sellers will only ship to stated address for payment.
And you really haven't a lot of feedback on purchases lately...so pretty sure seller will not mail to another address.
