I'm trying to buy 2 of thise (item 166052947286) but every time I get Unfortunately, this item isn’t available for purchase in your location.
The listing says international shipping and Denmark is included.
Hope someone can help me.

·1 year agoUpdate for anyone still paying attention to this issue.
Spoke to tax authority (skattestyrrelsen), customs services (toldvæsnet) and finally the real "culprit" the security administration (sikkerhedsstyrrelsen).
Essentially this is not a Denmark issue - it is a European issue, however it's believed that the Danish security administration campaign for marketplace adherence to tnew ruling may have been what has cause Ebay to actually adhere to the new ruling.

I suppose GSPR will adhere to china in the future as well at which point Ebay is not longer really usable for me as European sellers are always selling at way to close to new/msrp pricing to justify using Ebay.
Huge loss for electronics used market in Europe, huge loss for reuse and the environment.

·1 year agoI'm a seller from Ukraine. I can't accept an offer for a product. I also get the same error when I make a counter-offer. This isn't an EU customs issue, it's a technical error on the eBay marketplace.

·1 year agoSo i spoke to Ebay - the issue is that Danish imports are restricting outside EU shipments without an CE approved original letter.
IF you can get the seller to procure and upload the document to the listing it will be purchasable and shippable to Denmark.
This is apparently a restriction on danish customs side - Iøve reached out to them for confirmation but replies can take up to 20 business days.

I'm unable to buy any US based physical items not matter the type of item and whether Denmark is on the shipping list or not.

I'm unable to buy DDR4 RAM through eBay, something that should be safe to ship anywhere.

I also live in Denmark, and I have had this issue since late december 2024.
I get this message when i go to checkout:
"Unfortunately, this item isn’t available for purchase in your location"
But the item IS available for me, so i don't understant this.
It doesn't matter if the item i try to buy is located in US, China, Germany, Sweeden or any other country. Its the same error.
Some of the sellers have tried to contact ebay about this problem, but ebay does NOT care, and says that there is no problem.
I have also contacted ebay, but get no response 😞

·1 year agoThis issue isn't just related to Denmark. I'm getting it on US items shipping to a US address. I think everyone needs to do the technical issue report at the bottom right of the item listing page before eBay will address it.

·1 year agoYup.... too all my fellow Danskere. I too am having the same issue. Suddenly ALOT of items ive ordered from Japan, US etc are not available to ship to Denmark. When i go to ebay to search for items ALOT of them are not being shown at all. When i change my location to US, suddenly all the items are there to find. The weird part is that i can see the seller offers international shipping.
Does anyone have any solutions yet to this issue?

·1 year agoI'm getting this error on two small cardboard based board games in shrink-wrapped boxes.
Also located in Denmark, and shipping to Denmark is mentioned in the "Ships To" list.
Sux a little, tbh.

·1 year agoI'm having this issue too.
I'm trying to buy some Monster High dolls that aren't available in Denmark, from US sellers and I keep getting this error when I go to buy.
I also noticed, that a lot of dolls I have on my watchlist no longer come up when I search for them, eventhough I can see that they still are for sale through the watchlist, and all of them give me the "Unfortunately, this item isn’t available for purchase in your location" if I try to buy them.

Which I bought a doll from in december, and I can no longer buy any of them. Same error.
It goes without saying that all of these say that they ship to denmark, it even gives me a shipping estimate when I look at them.

·1 year agoYeah, i've been hitting a brick too when it comes to ordering toys to Denmark (espeically from US) Ebay said it was something about our import thingie but i can't find anything about it having changed the last year
And it all started slowly around november but it is like everything now

·1 year agoI have the same problem. Have bought NECA action figures from eBay US for 6 years, but now It says it can’t ship to Denmark, I can buy all other stuff from US but not action figures.
is there some new import export rules between usa and Denmark?

·1 year agoI also live in Denmark and started receiving these Errors at Checkout.
Funnily enough Aliexpress did the same stupid think a Month ago or so :/.
Sorry to say, but this is just sheer stupid: the Error Message MUST be specific and not be linked to 100 Possible Causes.
- I have the Address correctly set to "Denmark"
- The Seller lists "Denmark" as a Shipping Destination & eBay International Shipping is present
- Paypal is correctly linked (well, unless either eBay or Paypal completely messed up)
The only Issue that comes to Mind is that my eBay Email Address does NOT match my Paypal Address. Not sure if this is the Issue, it wasn't an Issue until now at least.
As for why this is the Case, it's simply because it's a eBay / Paypal "Feature" that you cannot change the Country of your existing Account. And since I moved to Denmark a few Years ago, I had to use another Email Address for Paypal ...

·1 year agoeIS would likely have added Denmark to the excluded countries list in the shipping section if that were the case, @bonanza125. I think this is more an issue with the OP's shipping address.
@d.a.s.1102, if you're still following this thread, have you tried looking up and purchasing the item through a European eBay site (such as eBay Eire/Ireland) rather than the US site?

·1 year agoThis message has popped up for US buyers using PO boxes and trying to purchase from US sellers who don't ship to PO boxes, though, @bonanza125.
And there have been posts from non-US buyers as well as sellers using eIS who have found that specific countries don't appear on the "ships to" list generated by eIS, so I would think that if there's something problematic about the item, Denmark would have been eliminated from that "ships to" list and added to the exclusion list in a manner similar to those listings.
For what it's worth, I tried purchasing the item that the OP posted using a PO box for my Canadian address at Checkout and I received the same message. I didn't get that message when I used my home address, also in Canada.

·1 year agoIs your shipping address a post office box? The eBay International Shipping system doesn’t support shipments to post office boxes.
Even if your address isn’t a post office box, the AI scanning your address may not know Danish very well and may be misinterpreting something in your address. 🤪
