I’m looking for help investigating two shipping-label charges on one order and finding a written support option.
I purchased one USPS label through eBay, and only one package was shipped. Its tracking shows USPS acceptance on August 5 and delivery on August 8. The buyer confirms receiving the item.
The same order also has a second USPS tracking number for a label I did not purchase. That number shows movement beginning September 5 and delivery on September 8. The buyer received another delivery notification but confirms that no second package arrived.
Both tracking histories displayed on eBay show the same “Shipping Label Created” timestamp: August 4 at 8:27 PM. I have now checked my payment activity and found two separate shipping-label charges for this order.
I don’t know what caused the additional label or tracking activity, and I would like eBay to investigate the extra charge.
Has anyone experienced this combination of two charges and a second tracking number showing delivery a month later? How was it resolved?
