Tracking uploaded on time and validated + Late shipment rate Under SELLER LEVEL on desktop
Just wondering if some1 knows what the above is actually tied to????????????? I know what it means but what do EBAY consider "ON TIME" ???????????? I got dinged when a USPS driver picked up few packages and did not even turn them in to post office for 4 days. If I had a handling time of 2 days and since it took 4 days before a scan was this the strike? If I put 5 days as handling and no scans for 4 days then I would NOT have gotten the strikes??????????????
In BIN listings, the estimated delivery date is FAR in the future. I looked back on something I just purchased and EBAY apparently changed the original listing date to some crazy far off ETA date. Yet it once said delivery by March 3 (yeah it is lost) BTW changing handling time makes ZERO changes to delivery dates. I just changed something to 5 day handling time and the date a buyer would receive stays same????
Based on this somewhat weird pretzel logic a seller is better off putting a big handling time. Although in reality if I sold something waited 5 days to ship I would think the buyer would be **bleep** 😞

·5 months agoAnother option is to take your items to the post office, wait in line and have the postal clerk scan them as "accepted."

·5 months agoYes, if not scanned by the date of your handling time, then you get dinged.
Extend your handling time if you are having issues getting your packages scanned.

OP5 months agoyeah I think it auto defaults to 1 day handling time and that is why I got dinged a mass edit and change to 4 day for the "just in case" an option. Although most I ship out in a day or 2
