Tracking shows delivered at my local post office
I sold an item and dropped at my mailbox. Tracking shows delivered to my local post office, not to the buyer.
USPS confirmed it's still in transit. How can I make sure eBay and the buyer know when it actually arrives?
Thank you!!!

·8 months agoTracking in eBay won't update after the first delivery scan, but clicking on the tracking number will show USPS tracking, which will continue to update normally. I don't believe that the buyer will receive a second delivery notification from eBay, but only after the first (incorrect) delivery scan.

·8 months agoNo need to bother the buyer unless he looks at the tracking himself and wonders what's going on. It's just a common glitch where the employee used a hand scanner set for Delivery rather than Acceptance. It has no effect on the package travels, and will be superseded by later scans along the way.
