"Tracking Not Available" at usps website for pkg I have an acceptance receipt for
EDIT: It finally updated & shows that my PO is in possession. I guess it's slower than it's ever been before. Wish I could delete this post hahaha!
It sold yesterday.
I packaged it and had it scanned in at the counter this afternoon.
When I go to my orders, paid & shipped, it doesn't reflect that the USPS has the item. That's okay, it probably just hasn't updated on eBay yet.
So, I checked the USPS website and it says "Tracking Not Available" (see image below).
This has never happened before, but something else happened that has never happened before:
One clerk was helping a family get passports. She asked another employee to come to the counter when there were 3 of us waiting behind the family. The other employee had to get logged in, put in his cash drawer, and then he scanned my package. When he tried to print the receipt, there was no paper, so he had to put paper in the printer. Then it printed a blank receipt because he had the paper backwards, so he had to flip it around. It finally printed and I have the receipt with the correct info. on it.
All of that's no big deal. Poop happens and he took it in stride.
It's the same tracking number on the receipt as what's on eBay & USPS.com.
Should I go back up there and have them look on their end?
It's weird and I don't want any issues. Has anyone else had this happen before?

·8 months agoGood to hear it's updated. For future reference, even though the scans typically appear right away, it can take up to 24 hours at times, so don't worry about it unless it's been longer than that.
