Tiny labels in firefox 4x6 zebra gk420d
This just started happening with firefox, PNG format, 4x6. My labels still work fine on amazon and if i print outside of firefox, but can't figure out what has changed. I have a zebra GK420d and using windows. The
paper size is set correctly to 4x6. "print to shrink =true". just started happening a day or 2 ago. Any ideas?

Since you later posted the label is ok when you save and open it later with Abode, then the PNG format and not setting Firefox to open PDF files with Adobe is likely the problem.

OP8 months agoFYI, browswer extension actually was not the issue. still not working. the "preview" function on ebay for the label works fine and looks like it should be but intial size of png label is really small. will continue to work on

In the meantime, it sounds like an issue with Firefox (eBay and Firefox often clash, especially after one or the other pushes out an update) and you can change your browser settings to have files open with Adobe instead of Firefox's built-in reader.

·9 months agoCheck for Firefox updates. Browsers often update and it messes with stuff like this.
You can post a screenshot of the print settings and we can take a look to see if something looks off.

OP9 months agoThe ebay preview looks correct/good. I have tried 3 printers and it appears it is outputting a label size of about 1x1.5". since I have tried 3 printers, this would eliminate the printer as the problem. I feel like it is a firefox settting/problem. firefox did update recently and I think it is to blame. just can't figure it out. I was hoping someone else recently had this start happening.

OP9 months agoBut I just printed a 4x6 png label from walmart properly, which means firefox may be ok.

OP9 months agosorry to answer myself again, but I think I figured it out. seems like it might be the ublock origin extension causing trouble.

·9 months agoTry printing to a file and then use Acrobat to print the label, as a workaround
