Strange Ebay shipment from Ebay Headquarters?
I have in my UPS account a notice that I will be getting a 5lb package from this address.......
Ebay Inc, 2025 Hamilton Ave , San Jose, CA, 95125-5904, US
I currently have no outstanding orders from anyone, including non-Ebay.
Does this make any sense? Is this some sort of scam, if so, it still makes no sense to have a package picked up at Ebay HQ and sent to me.

·5 months agoeBay has sent me shipping supplies for free a couple of times. Tissue paper, packing bags, tags and labels. Could be that.

·5 months agoI just had the same situation happen to me,
i wouldnt have ever even known about it except for the fact that i unintentionally found it while using the UPS app to track a different shipment that I am scheduled to receive, and just happened to notice this mystery tracking number that has Ebay Headquarters address at 2025 Hamilton Ave in San Jose, as the Sender.... but mine says that the package weight is 2.00lbs, not 5.00lbs and the label was created on 1/06/2026 so its been just over 2 months since.... so i dont even know what to think of it. but i too also have no outstanding orders from anyone, including non-ebay, nor anything that i purchased on or around that date from anywhere. baffles me.

·2 years agoThe last time someone made a similar post, they ended up getting a gift from ebay of various shipping and packing materials.
IIRC, some of the recipients weren't even sellers and never shipped items.

·2 years agoEither eBay is sending you a package, or you shipped something with UPS that's being returned to sender and eBay's address is listed since they are the account holder. Did you look at tracking?
