Stamped envelopes to Canada non delivery issue
I ship patches non domestically in stamped envelopes . Domestic shipments are through the ESE program. Recently Canadian buyers are not receiving their patches , over a month has gone by and no deliveries. Is there a problem with Canadian postal services? Politically motivated slow down? Want to hear if anyone else has experienced this. TIA.

Merchandise sent to Canada requires custom forms, and mailing envelopes usually only contain paper documents.

·1 week agoTrade relationships and the enforcement of regulations regarding them have never been as contentious as they are now.
In my long history of online selling, the unpredictability of when Canada Post actually delivers mail made shipping to Canada an activity which I found to be not worth the effort.
I like Canadians, but the after shipment hassles were enough to have me cease shipping there, and I only resumed when EIS was created, and EIS costs more to ship to Canada than to Europe. Something which discourages Canadian buyers from buying many of the items I sell.

·1 week ago · EditedOh, it's definitely against postal regulations to do so.
And yet in 30 years of sending cards that way, not one postal worker has ever said I couldn't do it and none have ever been returned. I get the same INR rate from the small number of countries I send to as I did domestically before ESE.
@kipfl1554 I have seen no problem sending to Canada lately and they are by far my most sent to foreign country. They are also by far my lowest INR rate, like 1 in 15 years. So I hope that continues to be the case.
ETA I never include the tax code though, that may call attention to them.
