Some how I now have a ton of shipping policies...that I don't want
TIA. How do I get rid of them? Now when I go to list in the app. when I add the weight and dimensions of my items when I click shipping options instead of all the services being listed i now have a ton of polices to choice from and i cant figure out how that happen.

·1 year agoeBay forced me into shipping policies without telling me too, but that was at least a year ago, maybe two years ago. Showed a bunch of gibberish I couldn't understand.
I had to go to my account settings and opt out. I don't use the app, so I don't know where to tell you to go to find where you can opt out.
@wastingtime101 might be able to help. They helped me opt out from desktop.
On desktop, you click the down arrow under "Hi [your name]!" in the top left of the page, then click "account settings". Then click on "Business Policies". The page layout has changed, but I assume you'd click "Shipping" and there should be an opt out option there. Wish I could be more helpful and I wish eBay would stop doing that. It should be an opt IN situation not an opt OUT.

·1 year agoI don't think you can do it on the app @ltldpr but if @ttc-strawlis-shop clicks on the below link they can opt out of biz policies from a web browser on their phone.
Manage and edit business policies, or disable them to go back to how you used to set up your listings, on this page.

·1 year agoYou go to account, business policies & under shipping are all your shipping policies & the active listings they apply towards. This allows you to apply specific shipping options to specific types of listings you have created. I use them to define services based on total sale price & type of goods. It is not a recent change - it's been around for quite some time now. I suggest you become familiar with it as they do make listing items far easier & faster when used correctly.
