Since when is Hong Kong excluded from eBay International Standard Delivery
Keep getting this message : .." Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label "
What am I supposed to do ? The buyer paid $15, if I ship through USPS I will have to pay more.

It may be restricted from shipping to China.

·1 year agoThanks for the response. The item is at https://www.ebay.com/itm/205121494805 - an old (circa 15 years) dev kit for a DSP chip.
Can't imagine there would be restrictions in place for this. And if there were, they should apply to Macau too (as a Special Administrative Region of China, like Hong Kong), whereas Macau is indeed supported.
Would appreciate any suggestions. Many thanks.

I live in Hong Kong and am trying to buy an item from a US seller that uses eBay Interntational Shipping, and for some reason neither of us can figure out, Hong Kong is not in the 'Ships to' list (neither is China, but Macau is!) even though the seller has not set any exclusions. It's really frustrating.

·1 year agoHello mat-, I am running into the exact same trouble now. It's a political move when D Trump first term days. I totally agree, HK should be a stand-alone enty as it is tax exempt for most things imported.
The best advice I can give you is to have it shipped via a freight forward like Planetexpress. If the seller isn't charging you for domestic shipping, then you are still just paying for one international shipping fee and their rates are very good.Good luck.

BUT on those occasions I have shipped to Hong Kong I have run into the following:
The CITY is Hong Kong and the COUNTRY is Hong Kong.
NOT China (despite what Xi thinks)

Set up a free account at Pirateship.com and sign up for their simple export program. Their rates for shipping international packages under 4 pounds are hard to beat. You can even link your eBay account and have tracking number automatically uploaded to eBay. $11.99 for up to 8 ounces, $15.99 for up to one pound, $19.99 for up to two pounds, $26.99 for up to three pounds, or $35.99 for up to four pounds to Hong Kong.
