So... just got a Neutral review because an item was damaged in shipping. I think the package was inspected because the clock was dissassembled. Also, The cloche wasn't rewrapped as I had sent it and it broke. I had it triple bubbled then double wrapped in large bubble and tons of packing materials. I tape up the bubble wrap so it cant come off the items. Also a knob was unscrewed and fell off. How is this my fault? I would love it if we could dispute ship reviews! This is getting old! Im an avid seller on several platforms and rarely have a ship issue. Im not saying all broken items aren't the fault of sellers who wrap improperly but dang occasionally there's nothing a seller can do stop this from happening. Also had a box arrive looking like an accordian a few weeks ago. Luckily I had it wrapped so well it wasnt damaged. Sellers spend a fortune on shopping materials too. Can we get a break!? Geeeez

·4 months agoIt sounds like your clock/package was tampered with, not just damaged in shipping. Was this an international order? If it was, it is possible customs is responsible for the tampering. If it was domestic, it must have been tampered with en route. Did the buyer receive any paperwork with it, like a customs letter, or a letter from the carrier explaining what happened?
If the carrier is willing to provide proof they tampered with it for some reason (unlikely but I'd contact them anyway and try to get to the bottom of what happened), eBay might remove the neutral. But even then I can guarantee it will take hours and hours of your time, and probably cause you tons of stress in the process. Might be better off just letting it go, especially if the buyer didn't ask for a refund or a return (I can still completely understand your frustration if the package was tampered with, I wouldn't be happy with that neutral either.)

·4 months agoYou could appeal the feedback however that's not a guarantee. It's definitely a tough situation. Stuff like this happens when you ship off fragile items. My only advice would be think twice before listing fragile items. Did the buyer even contact you prior to leaving the feedback for a refund? Maybe an insurance claim could've helped the situation.
