Many shipping options that get confusing as to which way is best. Is Parcel Select a good overall option to use? USPS site is not really the most informative.

·4 months ago"Parcel Select" is now called "Ground Advantage" after the USPS renamed their ground services a few years ago, which has caused a ton of needless and completely unnecessary confusion but I digress...
You should be using media mail for all your qualifying media items, like your music CDs and all of your cookbooks. Many of your media items will be very difficult to sell, and virtually impossible at today's Ground Advantage rates (you have a child's cookbook that costs over $12 to ship due to weight, and a set of first aid books at $22 to ship, they could be sent 40% less (possibly more) media mail, and that can make a difference between possibly/eventually selling and never, ever selling.) Media is extremely price sensitive.
Most of your items still have "first class" as shipping. They all should be changed to Ground Advantage. eBay's system did not do this automatically. Some of your shipping is also way to low to cover what it will actually cost to ship. You really need to go through all your items and change the shipping. Choose Ground Advantage, not first class, or Media Mail for your qualifying items.
Your photos of your books are very good BTW. Showing endleaves, title page, copyright page etc., all items book buyers want to see. Some book sellers can't be bothered to take pictures of them, that gives you an advantage.

·4 months agoI've found that USPS Ground Advantage is the most cost efficient way to send most items. Although my listings advertise GA, I occasionally upgrade to Priority mail if the cost difference is small.
In my experience, GA is no slower or less reliable than priority.
I would never use UPS or Fedex.

·4 months agoUSPS eliminated Parcel Select and 1st class package service a few years back and combined them into Ground Advantage. That is pretty much the only service I use now other than occasionally something might qualify for media mail.
