Shipping to Puerto Rico

Lately I have noticed that many dealers are not shipping to Puerto Rico. We use the same mailing system as the US. Sellers are losing sales. I don't know if Ebay has imposed any new restrictions and if so why?

My buyer has a NYC address listed but wants me to send item to him in PR? He says that I need to change something in my listing so that he can pay for it. It looks as though HE needs to change his address, as noted above. I was on the phone to eBay support for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to resolve thisâ€¦. Still no answer other than me canceling the order and relisting it with global/international shipping. ? I just havenâ€™t encountered this before. I have no problem shipping to PR, as long as I donâ€™t get stuck with a high shipping bill etcâ€¦.

It is frustrating to see Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, and contiguous states excluded when the seller ships USPS. They're ignorant.
