Shipping to a military base
A customer purchased an item and her address is not allowing me to purchase the shipping label. It is saying that eBay does not support this label and I am trying to edit it and it still will not work. Does anyone know how to address an armed forces address?

·3 years agoSomeone else mentioned that they had a problem with a military address. I suspect it is an ebay glitch. You can sign up with Pirateship for free and print the label there.

·3 years agoThere's the old fashion way. Going to a post office and mailing it. I have never used a eBay shipping label.
I have shipped a lot to military bases...especially like Puerto Rico.

·3 years agoThat is odd, because the label that pops up is a different looking one, and is convenient. Did you check if all the information you were given was correct? A wrong zip code? Any little thing will cause a problem.

·3 years agoTry printing from the www.usps.com website or try Pirateship. Calling the post office is a waste of time. They are too busy handling the customers in the front. The newer ones would not even know what an APO address is. Yes, you do need a customs form too.
For the customs form, if it won't print, it could be the title is too long. I had this issue a while ago.

·3 years agoIf it's being shipped per USPS, why not start by calling your local PO and asking them?

·3 years agoIs it an APO or FPO address? If so it may require a customs form when printing the shipping label.
