Shipping to a FPO AP address.
As much as I hated to do it, I had to cancel a order tonight to a FPO AP address.
I am running my ebay business from a temporary location and only have access to a 4X6 label printer.
I do not have access to a regular printer.
This is one of those "weird" labels that asks for customs info, tariff code, AES/ITM exemption, license number, certificate number, invoice number.
Is this something new?
I can remember before sending to FPO AP addresses without any problem.
It's a shame because I really need every sale I can get -and- because I want to take care of our men and women in the military.

·9 months agoMy question is what reason did you cancel.
There is no issue with their address.

OP9 months agoI used "problem with buyers address".
Are you going to criticize me for that?
Would you also criticize me if I used "out of stock" even though it wasn't out of stock?

·9 months agoMilitary addresses (APO/FPO/DPO) often need a customs form because most of the destination addresses are international (some are stateside).
The customs form is integrated into the 4x6 label so there was no need to cancel.
Maybe try reaching out to the buyer and letting them know you sorted the label issue and they can repurchase.

Edit to add an example of what the label will look like - obviously this is a different mail service so it's not the same, but it's a good reference to show the layout/format.

Thank you!
What about all that other stuff that I have no clue about?
*Tariff code
*AES/ITM exemption
*License number
*Certificate number
*Invoice number

·9 months agoYou need to fill out the HS code and can ignore the rest you mentioned. All you need to know here @inhawaii :
https://support.pirateship.com/en/articles/5255164-what-is-a-harmonization-number
Make sure the item description is accurate (you may need to slightly tweak from the prefilled listing title, depending). Weight/value should be auto-filled but double-check it's accurate.
For example, you recently sold:
2026 JACK IN THE BOX "Jibbi" keychains 4 styles to choose from NEW IN BAG!
I'd change that description of contents to:
Plastic Keychain packaged Jack in the Box Jibbi figure
You don't want "4 styles to choose from" on there, and you should start with material and item followed by specifics.
