I prefer having ebay automatically calculate the cost of shipping based on the buyer's address, instead of using a flat cost and losing money when shipping to further destinations.
Shipping policies are incredibly easy to set up and use. Like Ron Popeil used to say, "Set it and forget it." When USPS prices go up, shipping prices are automatically updated.

And you chose UPS Ground Saver for some, yet USPS GA for others. (Mine would all be USPS GA.) Good luck, though!

·5 months agoIf it's not your cup of tea, just opt-out of it.....
many members who frequent this board swear by it....once you learn the "ins and outs" of the policies, it can be beneficial.

·5 months agoIn order to find out costs you need to type in the weight and dimensions. There are multiple options which buyers would want. For me as a seller and buyer I just choose USPS and Ground Advantage cause it's the cheapest option. Others would prefer FedEx or UPS for varies reasons. Now if you want to type in just any shipping cost as in $20 for an item which costs $6 to ship that's just going to get buyers upset. Ebay doesn't want to have buyer leave.
