Shipping location

I just bought a phone and the listing said Located in: Dallas, Texas, United States. But when I got the email confirming the order it states the seller is in Shenzhen, 510630 GUANGDONG CN "CHINA". Had I known that I wouldn't have purchased it. Why does EBay allow this to happen?

Been happening for years, lying about where inventory is based is common from sellers in certain countries, its best to check where the seller is based before buying, another sign is when it says stock is in the US but delivery is 21 days.
