The size of the package has an impact as well as the distance being traveled.
Some sellers enter the wrong dimensions of the package and get hit with a huge shipping cost. A large package with a low weight could easily cost what a 20 or 30 pound smaller package will cost.
Several things factor into the cost of shipping. You did not mention what carrier you are using, how far it's going or, if USPS, what service you used. Plus, USPS has recently initiated a rate increase, but not sure when it starts. Also, there are surcharges for some oddly shaped packages or long items like golf clubs, I believe.

5. Shipping service = is it Priority Mail? That's what was advertised on your recent sale
