Shipping label receipt
Does anyone know how to get a receipt for USPS shipping labels. Ebay says they do not provide them, you can not go your local USPS an get them. When printing label you are suppose to be able to go to the change section under the buyers info and check the box that says print receipt. That does not work does not generate or print receipt. HELP advice maybe I should switch to Pirate ship

·1 year agoYou can also get a receipt, similar to a cash register receipt, when dropping off a package at the post office. These show the destination city and ZIP, package weight as measured by the PO (useful for weight discrepancies), and tracking number. I didn't used to get them, but thought it would be a good idea to start during this last holiday season. My local post office told me that the receipts are automatically printed when the package is scanned and weighed, even if I don't ask for one. Since learning this, I've continued to ask for them, which also ensures a timely scan of the package. I have an app that awards points for each receipt scanned, an added bonus for getting a receipt.

OP1 year agoTried it did not work checked the box, unchecked the box, rechecked the box still did not generate or print the receipt

·1 year ago@briansvariety you also need to choose these 2 things;
So it would be a 11x7 pdf with receipt.... (ps Pirate Ship doesn't 'pay' anything, it all goes through USPS and trust me, only 3 weeks after being 'lost' can you 'submit a lost package' which takes another 2-3 weeks to get approved and another 2-3 weeks to get a check). 'Damaged' seldom pays, unless reported by the BUYER right away and the package needs to be visibly damaged (not what's inside).

·10 months agoRequiring a user to manage EVERY available option on EVERY menu on eBay is absolutely insane.
PRINT THE RECEIPT WITH THE LABEL. PERIOD. END OF STORY. IT'S PART OF THE SERVICE THAT I PAID FOR WITH MY FEES!!

·1 year agoWhen you go to buy a shipping label, there's a menu there where you can choose to print a receipt with the label or just the label.

OP1 year agoTried it did not work Ebay help suggested I clear my cookie and cache I will try it again in Monday when I ship. Think I may just switch to Pirate ship hear only good thins about them especialy invloving claims Thanks
