Shipping label purchasing Error Refunds
On January 29th, there seemed to be some error when trying to purchase shipping labels where it would not populate or generate but will still be charged for. It will not show up in shipping label purchase histories. Ebay did post somewhere that it is being looked into and it seems to be working now, however, the charges for the labels that did not generate has not refunded yet. Are we supposed to just wait to see if it would refund or do everyone that had been extra charged supposed to swarm ebay customer service?

·8 months agoYes. eBay is good about taking care of these things, but it can take time to process everything. I'd give it a week or so.

·7 months ago@wastingtime101 , do you have a contact email for that Shipping team if there's still a mistake on this "shipping issue"? I can't find anything definitive for that particular support team.
I was charged four times for the same label, but Ebay only refunded two out of three of the "issue" labels. I'd like to send my Paypal account statement (showing all the charges and refunds) to somebody at Ebay involved with this issue to get the third refund.

·7 months agoFirst step: Did you check here @cljackson99 the number of labels purchased? I'm wondering if two purchases made it through, in which case you could cancel the extra label. https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/seller-hub

·7 months agoYes, the Seller Hub shows a single label as used with no cancellation option. It doesn't even show the three additional label purchases. It wasn't until my Paypal statement that I saw how many times total that I retried to purchase the label.

Regarding Ebay shipping issue from 01/29/2026, my order (Order number: 10-14163-27845) was charged four times but only refunded for two out of three mistaken labels.
@devon@ebay - can you forward this info to someone on the shipping team? Or give me a support email address to send my Paypal statement showing the charges/refunds? Any help is appreciated.

·8 months agoDid you actually void the labels?
When you request a refund for a voided USPS label, it's USPS who issues the credit but it can take about 15 days for the credit to be issued because they need to make sure the label wasn't used.
