Shipping label pop up
Anyone else having the issue of the PDF label screen not popping up after selecting purchase shipping label? I used to be able to select purchase shipping label and a PDF would pop up and the label would print just by hitting the enter button on the keyboard. Now I have to select purchase shipping label then select "print label" which takes me to another page then select print. Is this an issue with ebay?

·6 months agoI think this is going to be the new norm unfortunately. If they were planning on fixing the issue, it would have been fixed. Here's to hoping they accidentally fix it with in another update...

·6 months agoIt isn't part of the revenue stream so it gets kicked to the end of the line where decades long glitches that will be described to you as features, reside.

·7 months agoThis is still happening. Frustration! I checked all my browser extensions and nothing is preventing the pop-up window, so it's in EBAY's court. Fix it, guys!

·8 months agoHuh...I've always had to select: purchase shipping label then select: print...so no help from me...wonder why a pdf never popped up on my end? Well hope it's fixed for you!

·8 months agoYes its super annoying- and just another inefficiency with eBay's shipping/printing postage setup.
Just like when someone buys multiple items separately and you combine the orders, the print label screen is different and when you click the return to seller hub link it opens a completely new window.

·8 months agoThis is messing up my shipping process. I had to ship over 70 items this morning and it's a lot harder to know who's package I'm printing a label for when I have to click and open a new window to print the label as I start on the next persons label while things are loading...

·8 months agoYes, been happening the last few days. The page after purchasing the label looks a little different, so maybe an update is causing this. Need to get the auto popup back as that was really convenient. Now I'm worried I'll somehow forget to print a label when I'm packing a bunch of packages since you have to click the print button to get the label to show.

·8 months agoThat started last week for me. Plus the packages still showed that I needed to print the labels even though I could see the shipping labels were purchased under orders drop-down menu. I had to manually input the tracking numbers into all of my orders.

You just have to do that 'additional' click.

·8 months agoI remember this happening before, a few years ago now. It was a side-effect of some botched revision attempt to the label purchasing process, which was apparently rolled back at last after a few days of upset.
It seems like the corporate preference is to dump revisions into Production and let us test them, as opposed to the normal process of testing and peer review to make sure that nothing gets broken along the way.

·8 months agoWhen this happened previously, there was some setting that users could change to fix it. I don't recall at what level the setting was, such as printer, browser, eBay setting, etc.

·8 months agoIt does not print for me from the first screen either, not anymore. But when I click "print label", print, and close window, I see that printing menu has popped up in the original screen and now I have to cancel it. Go figure.

·8 months agostarted yesterday afternoon, I called and complained (reported the issue), I suggest everyone else do the same, doing so creates feedback for them to either change it back or fix it.

·8 months agoDidn't do it to me yesterday; Maybe the day before, 3 or 4 labels in the afternoon, then it didn't the next day.
I don't think this is a thing ebay can fix as it's probably a Pitney Bowes thing.
