Shipping Issues
Hello,
I am selling sports and trading cards on the app and running into huge issues with selecting eBay envelopes options and having buyers pay $2.99-$5.99 for travel costs and whatnot. I am really only selling value singles and still learning as to why I have to pay more money in shipping then I am getting for my sales.
I am inputting smaller dimensions to allow me to select Ebay envelope option and once the buyer purchases, it is automatically being switched to ground advantage. This only enables me to pay $5.20 for a shipping label.
Please let me know what I am doing wrong or proper ways of setting up shipping methods for selling $1-$5 cards.
Please help.

·9 months ago@kingmecollects You are shipping from Guam. eBay Standard Envelope is a domestic service. This does not include Guam.

·9 months agoGuam's US though, domestic like PR no? Is this not the case when shipping from there? They apparently can ship GA and ESE is available to put in the listings, but shows at oddly high prices.
@kingmecollects If you can send a letter to the mainland US using a domestic forever stamp, IMO you should be able to use ESE. It's likely that your country of registration being Guam rather than US may prevent that though. Or maybe you all just have to pay more for shipping?
Of course if you can just use a stamp, that's an option too. You risk INR claims, but in the long run that'll be minuscule compared to successful sales.

·9 months agoUse a .78 stamp and write the address on the envelope.
Or raise the price of the card with free shipping.
And maybe, here's the best part...a buyer might buy more than one card together with free shipping.
No need for tracking on $1-$5 cards.
Your item will actually get delivered quicker without tracking in a standard envelop.
I use tracking for expensive items.
