SHIPPING & HANDLING TIMES + EBAY CHICANERY MUSINGS
I suppose that using a Windows PC Chrome browser that the only real way to get an idea of when a seller may ship is to look at "SHIPPING SEE DETAILS" and then go down to handling time???????????? In 2026 Ize ran into nothing but awful shippers. One I paid on a Wed they dropped off late, after pick up at a UPS store on a Monday Basically shipped Tues Now I made offer on Tues they accepted on Wed and AIN'T even shipped yet. Yet if I look at item with the account (this my seller account) shows I would get it between 4-17 to 4/24 haha I suppose this is just EBAY trying to trick a buyer into making a purchase thinking u may get it in 5 or so days when the seller may not have even shipped it by then? Actually this the 4th super slowly shipped item Most my purchases the sellers are good day or 2 before shipping I never hold it against sellers when USPS hides/loses packages I usually ship in a day or 2 and of course never get FB much less a thank u for fast shipping

·5 months agoYou "never get feedback"? eBay, for some length of time, has been dealing out auto FB to sellers within ten days or so when it appears that the transaction has gone well.

OP5 months agoI meant from buyer yes I get FB generated by EBAY sad that several buyers I shipped same day and they got in 2 days and gave me nothing

·5 months agoAgain, if/when the transaction goes well, eBay automatically leaves positive FB in about ten days.
How could a buyer possibly give you "nothing"?

·5 months agoTell Ize not to babysit the tracking on his/her orders.
Tell Ize not to look at the tracking until the earliest date in the estimated delivery period.
USPS is not scanning many packages for several days after they are picked up.
Many sellers have already compensated for their own and USPS delays by increasing their handling times.
Not every seller wants to create an expectation of fast delivery. I have a 5 day handling time, but I ship the same or the next day 99% of the time. I do not want to hear from my buyers about delivery issues unless there is a problem with the shipment which exceeds the normal variations in USPS performance. There are usually very few other sellers offering what I am offering, so I don't mind if the buyer looks for someone else who will deliver faster.

·5 months agoA lot of ebay sellers are hiding the fact that they are getting the item from overseas first and then shipping it to you from their home.

·5 months ago1. Every single time I make an eBay purchase, I look at the EDD first. If it's not going to work for me, I find another seller. If/when I do buy, I don't get concerned about delivery until it's at least two days past that EDD. Does wonders for keeping my blood pressure down.
2. Sounds like you are one of those sellers who always ships quickly. You're not the only one.

OP5 months agoThese is an EDD right on listing. Truthfully the EDD is worthless if you go back and look at handling time. Assuming they ship last day of handling time frame the EDD will be most likely past the last day

·5 months agoMy message still stands. If/when your purchase does not arrive by that date, regardless of handling time or any other factor, you, the buyer can open an item not received case the day after that date and have 30 days to do so with eBay. If, however, tracking indicates that the package is traveling through the system, you may need to wait a few days longer, keeping that 30 day time limit in mind.
