Shipping from US to Canada
Hey, I'm a first time seller and I got a question from someone ask "am I shipping in Canada"
Do I need to do anything or sign anything to sell to someone in Canada? I don't know if I'm allowed to sell internationally as a first time seller. At the same time I figured if the person can message me and see my listing I'm assuming Ebay will allow me to ship to Canada? My listing states the shipping cost is on the buyer.

·3 years agoYou don't have Canada blocked so they should be able to bid on your auction. Since you already have bids you can't add a shipping method on your listing but you can send them an invoice with the correct shipping amount if they win. You should let them know before they bid what the cost will be.

OP3 years agoThis is exactly what I needed! Creating the invoice made it possible for them to buy it and for me to ship it to Canada even though I had it marked as "shipping in the US"

·3 years agoNot a problem. When you click on "print shipping label" a page will open with several choices. If your package is under 4 pounds you can use first class mail, over 4 pounds requires priority mail. You will be prompted to generate a customs form which eBay should have already filled in. Check it for accuracy and correct as necessary. Then print, apply your label and ship.
One tiny restriction. U S past office requires the buyers full first and last name. In other words "H Smith" is not allowed.
