shipping defect and delivery delay
I actually ship the order and provide the tracking number within the handling time period, but the shipping service sometimes scans the shipment two or three days later due to weekend holidays in my region. eBay considers the scanning date not the actual shipping date. For that reason I have some "defect and late shipment" cases, tried to remove them but the request was refused.

·5 months agoThe scanning date is the first in-network sighting that proves that the package is in the mailstream. Before that point you may have printed the label, but eBay cannot tell whether you've shipped it.
For what it's worth, eBay considers the weekend through the end of Monday as the same business day. (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday.)

·5 months agoRequest to remove the defects. Choose the reason "something outside my control" and NOT "I have tracking that shows on time shipment".
Whether it's a natural disaster or USPS incompetence, it's outside your control.
I've gotten defects removed this way with 100% success.

OP5 months agoIncreasing handling time is a good solution, I did it. When I handle the order at the post office, I take the reciet and the tracking number, but the scanning prosess is done later at the main post facility.

There is a solution to your problem, if you choose to take it.
No Ebay involvement is necessary.

change your handling time (increase to cover)
