Shipping cost flat fees and combined when I do not have offer combined marked
Help please, so confused. New and trying to understand.
I did not offer combined shipping. I sold six of one item and the shipping charge was only charged once. I did offer a $3.50 flat fee because I am ridiculous and feel I should pay at least $1.oo for each item I ship...idk why.
I am often away for medical treatment and my young granddaughter knows the basics enough to send out my pre-packaged items for me. 6 items require more and a 3.50 fee even if I had her combine them.
Is this because I offered a flat rate fee? What can I do? I contacted the buyer to explain but no response. Do I just take the hit or can I send an invoice for the additional shipping if I have her combine them?

·3 years agoYou have your shipping set up wrong.
I 'think' you are using flat-rate shipping.
If a customer buys more than 1 it only charges the buyer for 1 shipment UNLESS you add a figure/amount in the "each additional item" box when you setup your shipping.
and, yes...you can't add more to the sale without somehow communicating with the buyer and setting something up.
