shipping cost discrepancy
I was looking at one of my items from another account with the zip code set for what would be zone 8.
It tells me that the shipping will be $32.91
When I put the item in the cart then it tells me the shipping will be $19.64
So ebay is apparently displaying a shipping cost to potential buyers that is way over what the actual cost will be.

·9 months agoWhen I look at that listing in the search results it shows $22.64 as the shipping.
When I look at that the listing page it shows $22.64 as the shipping by UPS ground.
When I add it to my cart it shows $22.64 as the shipping.
When I view my cart it shows $22.64 as the shipping by UPS ground.
When I go to checkout from the cart it shows $22.64 as the shipping by UPS ground.

·9 months agoWhat is the shipping zip code on your account? I’m guessing it’s not 90210? The shipping in your cart is displayed based on your primary shipping address, not the zip code set for estimated shipping while you’re browsing.
