Shipping Calculator states one price, then ebay charges a differnet price when paid out

Sold an item , shipping calculator calculated $23.72, then when ebay paid out they charged $26.92. This has happened a couple of times over the past several weeks. Has anyone else noticed this, going to call tomorrow!

·4 months agoI think they are seeing the FVF amount applied to shipping...the key from their post was "when paid out"

·4 months agoAlso, I’d double-check the zip codes used for the cost calculations. Your zip code and the delivery zip code are likely to be quite different.

·4 months agoWhat did the postage say when you printed out the label? At that time you are notified of the cost before you ever click "buy/get postage". Did package size change from what your listing said to what it actually was when boxed up?

OP4 months agoI didn't look at the actual label. Package size and weight did not change when shipped!

·4 months agoI would have to see how everything was listed and what you clicked when purchasing the label. We are talking $3.20, so it could be anything from signature confirmation, change in shipping service, added insurance, dimensional weight applied. Irregular package is $4 so maybe printed out less than $26.72 but then added back for irregular...just not sure.
If you click on "sell similar" you can see how the shipping was set up to make sure it matches to what you purchased as far as a label goes
Do know that a $23.72 label will cost with FVFs $26.92. Usually the fees on shipping are not broken down individually by shipping, tax, or sales amount...we just see one fee amount

OP4 months agoThe shipping charge was calculate by ebay, and no I don't charge a handling fee!
